Us lot here at Northern Aficionado like to think we have an eclectic music taste, from Burial to Bob Dylan we like loads of different tunes. Though one genre I especially love is hip-hop.
So now that we’re on that subject, I think it is time to introduce you to MF Doom and in particular his album Mm Food. The reasons I love this album are endless, firstly Doom wears a metal mask like the marvel villain Doctor Doom and every track is named after a type of food. You have to love that. Secondly, there honestly isn’t a bad song on the album. My personal highlights though are ‘Hoe Cakes’, ‘One Beer’ and ‘Rapp Snitch Knishes’. You should definitely give it a listen.
